Dear Alumni,

As St. Ann School begins another successful year and students, teachers and parents reflect on their accomplishments, we are reaching out to our alumni to encourage a reflection on their own Catholic elementary education experience.

Generations of families have attended Catholic elementary schools, with each new generation enjoying the same benefits - a value-based, quality education that includes strong preparation for a well-lived life.  In addition, as compared with the public schools, our Catholic schools consistently offer higher test scores.  And, by supporting St. Ann School, you can help ensure that future generations will also reap these benefits.

One alumnus recently wrote:

"My life, and my children's lives have been enriched by Catholic education.  I hope someday to see my grandchildren flourishing in Catholic schools."

I would like to invite you to share a personal or family Catholic elementary education story with our community.  Your participation will enrich our community and send a message about the importance that the Catholic elementary school education has played in your life.  I welcome your story either at our facebook page or at, where it will be shared with others who, like you, wish to further strengthen Catholic elementary education.  Your story will help tell the amazing impact St. Ann School has had on thousands of lives and generations of families.

I would also like to ask you to consider a gift to St. Ann School.  If you have already made a gift, I appreciate your support.  Your memories are what make our past great and our future full of promise.  Like you, tens of thousands of current Catholic elementary school students hold the hope for a better life and an enriched future.  Your support will help secure the future of Catholic elementary education.

I look forward to hearing your questions, comments and feedback, and I thank you for your support.

In Christ’s Love,

Dear Parents,

St. Ann School is blessed to be one of more than 300 schools, across seven arch/dioceses, participating in the Catholic Alumni Partnership (CAP).  CAP is a groundbreaking program – enabling us to reconnect with and re-engage our alumni for ongoing support.  In the Archdiocese of New York, we are one of 51 schools participating in a pilot program. Mr. Michael Vicario has been working closely with CAP staff to identify our alumni and create opportunities for those individuals to become active members of our school community.

CAP is a new, privately funded initiative to support Catholic elementary schools by implementing strong, sustainable annual fundraising programs for each participating school, with alumni support as the foundation.  Funds raised through this initiative will directly benefit St. Ann School, to help us continue to provide your children, and future generations, with a high quality Catholic education.

We are appreciative of this new and innovative opportunity to help St. Ann School meet the increasing financial demands that we encounter. I am confident that graduates will embrace the St. Ann School community that provided a foundation of life success for them.  They will be helping to ensure that foundation will be present for other young people.

Are you a graduate of Catholic elementary school?  If so, go to to see if your school is participating in CAP.

Thank you for your continued to support of St. Ann School.

We Need Your Help
In January, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring the contributions of Catholic schools to the nation - recognizing the academic and moral excellence instilled in students and congratulating schools for contributing to a brighter, stronger future for the country. We need your help in ensuring that
St. Ann School remains a viable alternative to families who feel the same way.

Today, we are struggling to keep tuition levels stable while costs continue to increase.

  • On average, tuition in the Archdiocese of New York’s elementary schools covers only 65% of student costs.  We receive approximately $300 a student (or 6%) from government sources.  The balance must be funded by our supporters.

You can join the ranks of Corpus St. Ann School supporters through a donation in the form of:

  • Make check out to Catholic Alumni Partnership – St. Ann School
  • Mail it to: Saint Ann School ,40 Brewster Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10701
